Druids Exist, Part 2

As a follow-up to my previous post on D&D character classes, I’d like to describe one of my favorite classes, the druid:

Druid – The druid serves the cause of nature and neutrality; the wilderness is his community.  He uses his special powers to protect it and to preserve balance in the world.

Anyone who looks to nature as a home or a guide, or who seeks to follow a path of balance in life, especially those with an affinity for animals, might identify as a druid.

One of the druid’s key skills is the ability to relate to and communicate with non-human animals (animal empathy in D&D terminology).  Here are a couple of videos depicting real-life druids with high-level animal empathy skills:
