Proper Use Of Mental RAM

June 19, 2013

This situation is familiar to GTD experts:

How hard is it to remember three things?  It’s easy, if you’ve got nothing else on your mind.  But if you’re someone who would ask this type of question, then you’re probably in the habit of keeping things on your mind, so chances are that isn’t the case.

How hard is it to carry three things?  It’s easy, if you’re not carrying anything else.  But if you’ve already got an armload, you’re going to drop something.

(Credit to Scott Adams and David Allen, of course.)
