Just Because You Can
Just because you can push people’s emotional buttons to get them to make a purchase doesn’t mean you should. Mastering the fine art of helping people overcome their own internal resistance is one thing, but if you rely too much on “persuasion” to close the sale then you are polluting the stream you drink from. The thing you have to ask yourself is, why do you want this sale so badly? Is it really for them? Or is it for you?
