Don’t Take the De-bait

Debate isn’t a matter of factual discernment, it’s a matter of oppositional intent. If two (or more) people enter into an engagement with the mutual intention to learn and to share, it is called a conversation. If there is an intent to oppose or control, then it is called a debate.

You can either play the game to win, or you can play the game to learn. Only one provides a true payoff.
