Guided Meditation For Healing Relationships

June 20, 2017

Think of the thing that gives you the most sadness and anguish.  Go into the emotion as deeply as possible.  In the depth of your suffering, picture someone you feel a strong bond with, someone that you feel certain would look upon you with compassion and be willing to lend support.  Picture them approaching, and placing a hand on you.  Do this again, with anyone you feel a strong bond with.  It can be anyone you know very well or just barely, from anywhere in time or space, as long as you feel secure that they would look upon you with compassion in your grief and lend you support.  Picture them approaching and also placing a hand on you.  Continue doing this with all of the Earthly allies you can think of immediately, and then be open to allowing new ones to come into your mind.  Because this is in your mind, there is no limit to how many people you can fit into your growing circle of support.  Next, picture the person you most respect and admire, from anywhere in time or space, whether they know you or not, as long as you feel secure that, if they did know of your suffering, they would witness it with compassion and lend their support.  See them witnessing your suffering from outside your circle of immediate allies.  Do this again with any other hero figures you can fathom, and then be open to allowing new ones to arise.  Next, picture anyone that you have a relationship with that you would like to heal.  Picture them at a distance, witnessing your circle of support healing you.  As you feel able, practice ho’oponopono with them.  Allow them to have whatever experience they need to have, and witness them having it.  When they are ready, see them come into your circle of support, placing a hand on you, and giving and asking for forgiveness.  Stay with this meditation for as long as necessary, and revisit it as often as necessary, until you are right with everyone in your life.
